Launched in 2016, Hello Violet is a one-woman apparel line and metaphysical shop based out of Austin, TX. Combining her love for occult art and vintage fashion, Subhadra Eberly began designing t-shirts, dresses, and tote bags for women using old esoteric images and illustrations, as well as her own quirky and colorful designs. The shop collection soon expanded to include tarot cards, divination and ritual tools, curated and handmade jewelry, and handcrafted one-of-a-kind gifts.
Clothing and tote bags by Hello Violet are printed with intention and love using eco-friendly water based inks and pigmented dyes in both California and North Carolina. Our apparel is not mass-produced, which keeps the clothing line environmentally friendly and also allows for other mystical items to be in the shop. What this means is that the t-shirt, dress, or tote you have your eye on won’t be made until you order it, and you also won’t see hundreds of other people wearing the same thing (nor will you ever find the Hello Violet label at a big box discount store). Hello Violet's exclusive tote collection is printed, cut, and sewn to order.
Message From The Owner
Ever since I was eight years old (with a desire to understand my own strange experiences) I have been fascinated with metaphysics, witchcraft, astrology, dreams and everything in between. I’ve spent a good portion of my life researching divination and the mysteries of the unknown, and have always believed that somewhere in there I would find my calling.
I have also always had a passion for things of the past: vintage and antique clothing, decor, and jewelry, and have often found myself nostalgic for a time I never existed in. I brought this passion to life from 2006 to 2011 with Vintage Pavement, an online vintage boutique and resource center.
I left behind a career in luxury retail management to stay home with my two babies (born in 2014 and 2016). Hello Violet is my way of staying busy and creative while blending my interests and passions together. My mission is to bring quality products to people who are just like me. I hope you enjoy the collection as much as I do.
