Where Do You Ship To?
Pretty much everywhere, with the exception of countries with a known reputation for customs issues, theft, and mishandling.
Due to high shipping costs, heavy items do not ship outside the US. This will be noted in the product description when applicable.
How Much Is Shipping?
United States: All orders are $2.95 flat rate shipping.
Canada: Shipping rates are tiered and start at $9.50.
International: Shipping rates are tiered and start at $13.50. Reduced shipping is offered on orders over $150.
Canada and International: If there is a difference of more than $3 in shipping charged vs. actual shipping costs you will be refunded the excess shipping fees. This is especially true for items that can be shipped as first class mail in an envelope, such as flat woods or dainty necklaces.
When Will I Receive My Order?
Made-to-order items such as apparel and totes typically take 2-7 business days for the final product to be shipped.
Inventory that is in stock ships within 1-2 business days. Every once in a while something with an odd shape or size needs special packaging, which could cause a 1-2 day shipping delay.
All orders ship via USPS. Depending on the items and weight, your order will be shipped as either First Class Regular Flat Mail (without tracking), First Class Package, or Priority Mail (for packages that weigh over one pound).
These USPS shipping methods take between 2-3 business days to arrive within the US, with the exception of First Class Regular Flat Mail which may take a couple more days. Flat mail is used for small or flat items such as small stones, tiles, and some cloths.
International orders can take anywhere from 7-30 days. So much is out of our hands once orders leave the country, which is why the estimate is so broad.
Hello Violet is not responsible for customs delays or fees. If your customs office has the tendency to be a pain when it comes to orders outside your country, please take that into consideration before ordering.
Sage, herbs, and tea cannot ship to Canada as there are customs restrictions on these items.
Wrong Addresses/Undeliverable Mail/Lost or Stolen Packages
Make sure your address is complete and correct when placing an order. Hello Violet is not responsible for packages that are shipped to wrong or "undeliverable" addresses. Orders ship to the exact address you type in, so if you've made a mistake send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP to correct this.
Hello Violet is a separate entity from USPS, therefore we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If something goes wrong you are welcome to send us an email so we can at least try to help, but there are no guarantees. We've yet to have a package lost, thankfully, but do keep in mind that once an order is shipped it is out of our hands and will simply follow its destiny.
